- 100 g desiccated coconut
- 150 g sugar
- 125 g butter

- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tbsp boiling water
Method
- Heat the oven to 160°C and line two trays.
- Mix the oats, flour, coconut and sugar.
- Melt the butter with the golden syrup, then stir the soda into the boiling water and add it. It will foam.

Time in the oven decides chewy or crunchy. Pick your side.
