Mealime has closed. Here’s where to keep your meal plans and recipes.
If Mealime was how you planned the week and shopped from one list, its closure leaves a gap. This page sets out what the closure means and where Bhook fits, and where it doesn’t.
- Mealime was discontinued on 21 October 2026.
- All personal data is deleted when the app shuts down.
- Mealime’s own recipes continue in Meals Hub, inside Albertsons Companies grocery apps.
- Its closing page does not mention a way to export your data.

If you want Mealime’s recipes
Go where Mealime pointed: Meals Hub keeps its recipe catalogue. Bhook doesn’t have that catalogue, and doesn’t pretend to.
If you want the planning, around your own food
Bhook does the part of Mealime that people miss most, for the recipes your family actually cooks:
- Plan the week. Put recipes on days and see the whole week at a glance.
- One grocery list. Quantities are added up across the week’s recipes, so two recipes that need onions give one line, not two.
- Cook Mode. The method one step at a time while you cook.
- Share the week. Send the family the plan and the list as a page they can open, print and shop from.
Bringing your recipes in
A recipe doesn’t have to be typed. Photograph a handwritten card, upload a screenshot, record a voice note or upload a cooking video, and Bhook writes it up as a clean recipe, in the language it’s in. The photo, note or video is kept alongside it. Or simply type it in.
If there are recipes you cooked from Mealime every week, a screenshot of each one is enough to keep a copy for your own kitchen.
